Dominican Republic Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 11, 2026

Fast 3D Renders is a company established in the Dominican Republic (48 Sanchez Street, La Vega 41000). This policy explains how we comply with Law 172-03 on the Protection of Personal Data and with Law 40-15 on Consumer Protection in relation to the data we collect through this website and our store.

Law 172-03 regulates the collection, storage, transmission, processing and circulation of personal data in the Dominican Republic, and guarantees the right to informational self-determination. Its supervisory body is the National Office for Personal Data Protection (OFIP).

What we collect and why

We only collect the personal data necessary to carry out the service you have requested, and we process it for a specific, stated purpose. We do not collect data in a manner that is excessive or unrelated to the contract.

  • Identification and contact data — name, email, phone number, address: to manage your order, invoice and delivery.
  • Project material — plans, photos, references and requirements: to produce the renders you ordered.
  • Payment data — processed through PayPal and our bank; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Usage data — IP address, browser and visit statistics: to operate and improve the website.

Consent

Under Law 172-03, the processing of personal data requires the prior, express and informed consent of the data subject, except where the law provides an alternative basis such as the performance of a contract or a legal obligation.

By placing an order you give your consent for the processing necessary to execute that order. Marketing communications and non-essential cookies require separate consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing [email protected].

Your rights

As a data subject you may exercise the following rights before Fast 3D Renders:

  • Access — to know what personal data we hold about you and the purpose of its processing.
  • Rectification — to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
  • Erasure — to request the deletion of your data when it is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected for.
  • Opposition — to object to processing, particularly for marketing purposes.
  • Limitation — to restrict the processing of your data in specific cases.
  • Not to be subject to automated decisions — decisions about you will not be based solely on automated processing.

Requests must be made in writing to [email protected], including your full name, the email address associated with your account and a clear description of what you are requesting. We respond within the legal timeframes and the exercise of these rights is free of charge.

Security measures

We apply the technical and organizational measures required by Law 172-03 to guarantee the security of your data: access control, private download links for project files, limited internal access and contractual obligations on the providers who process data on our behalf.

Data breaches

If an incident affects the security of your personal data, we will notify the affected parties and the National Office for Personal Data Protection (OFIP) as required by law.

Transfers

Your data may be processed by service providers located outside the Dominican Republic (hosting, e-commerce platform and payment processors). These transfers are made only when necessary to deliver the service, and the providers are bound to keep your data confidential and to use it solely for the contracted purpose.

Retention

Project files remain available for download for one (1) year after final delivery, as stated in our Delivery Policy. Order, invoicing and accounting records are kept for the period required by Dominican tax and commercial law. After that, data is deleted or anonymized.

Consumer protection (Law 40-15)

Law 40-15 protects consumers in distance and electronic contracts. In line with it, we provide clear information about the service, price, delivery conditions and the right to cancel before the work begins.

The detailed conditions for cancellation and refunds are set out in our Refund Policy and our Work Agreement.

Supervisory authority

If you consider that your personal data has been mishandled, you may first contact us at [email protected], and you also have the right to file a complaint with the National Office for Personal Data Protection (OFIP) at ofip.gob.do.
